Bail Denied On Drugs Charges

A MAN charged with drug supply after police stopped him yesterday with cash and nearly 60 plastic bags containing suspected heroin was refused bail yesterday.
Magistrate Elaine Truscott cited the need to protect the community from Gary Siddoway, 54, of Kahibah Road, Kahibah.She said he had served jail terms for drug offences and would likely receive a further term if convicted.The court heard Siddoway was stopped while driving in Newcastle at 8am yesterday.
