MAITLAND Mayor Peter Blackmore said traders and business operators in Maitland's central business district should find a niche market and cash in on the proposed Green Hills expansion.
"The CBD will survive and this is an opportunity for businesses there to explore a new direction," he said."The area lends itself perfectly to alfresco dining, especially those businesses that back onto the river."I can see something similar to Darby Street, Cooks Hill or Beaumont Street, Hamilton.Cr Blackmore said the Green Hills development, if approved, would be a great investment in the city.
