Perth man faces court for counterfeiting

A 43-year-old Perth man has been summonsed to appear in the Perth Magistrate's Court at a date to be set charged with fraud, attempted fraud, making counterfeit money and possessing counterfeit money after he was arrested by Perth police.
The man used forged $50 notes in early January at several small businesses.
Police found 40 fake fifty dollar bills along with computer equipment police allege was used to make the fake currency.
The man faces a host of charges including stealing, preparing for forgery and having instruments and material used for counterfeiting.
He might have been better off just getting himself a credit card
